A post between rows

I finished the first slipper at midnight Monday evening/ Tuesday morning and started the second one tonight after supper ... trying to knit fast, but I keep getting distracted by other things in this house that need to be done - laundry , dishes, loading the wood furnace, etc. I will have them ready to give the breeder on Friday evening, but they might be damp. Gotta get back to them! (oohh ... on a side note -- baby apple snails hatched today in one of the fish tanks! cool!)
