Spring is Springing

I went outside this afternoon, and look who I found sniffing the flowers ...

and frolicking in the shrubberies,

Oopsie!

Sheldon was so excited to be finally all done, that he decided to pose in his birthday suit (thankfully, he was inside ... what would the neighbors think?)

-- but he won't be doing that very often (I overstuffed his shell, and he's a little hard to get back in there, and I can't have a 'nekked turtle running around the house when T gets home!)

Specs:
Pattern: Sheldon by Ruth Homrighaus
Yarn: Patons Bumblebee Baby Cotton, Sweet grass and Daffodil colours
Mods: No alternations to the pattern ... but next time, I'll definitely knit the increases and decreases on his face tighter so his stuffing won't show, and stuff him a little less firmly all over, so he will fit into his shell better
Again?: Definitely! I am seeing making some of these for gifts, and a few just for fun for me! A quick, easy knit, once I got over my fear of single chain crochet, and stitching his limbs on. I love him! He needs a girlfriend ... soon.

He turned out to be a real cutie! Must make one or ten.
