Pre-Christmas Catch-up

Its been a while since my last post, but over the past few weeks, I guess I've been busy. Christmas knitting ramped up, taking up a bit of time, and I am nearing the home stretch (and should admit defeat, and say I am done, but there is always the hope that I get one more thing done!). I am mostly pleased with the output, but am still feeling the stress of "crunch time" ... and since I have decided that I don't need more stress in my life, the rest of the things I have planned to make will be put on the back burner and made, if I have time, over the Christmas break, and given as "just because I like you" presents at the end of the month, or into January.

I've made some hats ...

I've also made a few pairs of slippers ...

And a couple of gift wash-cloths in festive holiday colours ...

I love festive holiday colours ;) And am planning to finish the 4th cloth today. They are going with 2 gifts for the secretaries at T's work. They love the hand knit dish cloths, and so will get 2 each, along with some Lindor Chocolates, a mug with snowflakes on it, and a Santa ornament.

I think that sums up the past month of knitting ... details are on Ravelry, on my projects page, or send me a note if you want to know the details on patterns, needle sizes, etc.

I wanted to show you a pretty moonrise from a few weeks ago ...

- it was breathtaking, and these pictures don't even come close to the loviness of it :)

I so love your fish hats! I love them all! Looks like you have been busy knitting away. Too bad it's cloudy and stormy tonight for the lunar eclipse. It said on the news that it's the first time in 372 years that the lunar eclipse has fallen on Winter Solstice.
