For those who haven’t been to White Point Beach Resort you are able to take a virtual tour of the beautiful facilities! Go to: the interactive property map just click on www.whitepoint.com/interactive.html
The State room is where we will be gathering. We have called it our arts room. We will be taking our meals in the Seawatch Dining Room. Don’t forget to look at the pool!! The Founders Lounge (!!), and of course the Seaview and Lakeview Lodge rooms…Everything is lovely… Looking forward to a fabulous time!!
That's the latest news from Sharon ... she and I were talking today on the phone, and she mentioned mentors -- if people are interested in being a mentor to someone new to your particular Fibre craft, please send an email address to me and I'll forward it to Sharon -- Mentors will be on hand to support someone new to a craft, or someone who is learning something new in their craft, and we are hoping to be able to make people with strengths in a specific craft, and who has a willingness to share their time and talent with others, more easy to find -- probably by a special symbol on their name tag (or something like that - no worries - we won't make you wear a sheep hat if you are a spinner , although that would be fun too!).
Anyhow -- mentors are being sought, and if you think it sounds fun ... lemme know!
Next post -- Knitting talk will resume (I have been working away!)
