I took the Plunge

Call me crazy ... but I signed up for the 52 Pair Plunge ... it just seemed too motivational to pass up! Seeing the amount other people produce would have to push me to do more, wouldn't it? I sure hope so -- I am not setting the bar so high that I will make it to all 52 , but I hope to at least do 26, and am leaning toward 26 adult socks and a dozen kids socks! Wish me luck! This is my sock yarn stash ... I thought I should have a before picture, and some idea where I stand with how much yarn I have and how much I will need ... it doesn't look like much, but I have enough for 24 pairs of adult socks. Hopefully by next April, this stash will be all knitted into socks for me, T, and our families and friends! And, to get close to my goal, I will need more than this -- which is good (buying yarn is never a bad thing!)

I am hoping with the baby and toddler socks planned I may make it or at least come close.

I added one last 50g ball of bluey Socka to the markdown bin the other day, 25% off. Don't know if it's still there or not.

I signed up, too. Honestly, I don't expect to knit 52 pairs of socks in a year, but I though it would be interesting to see exactly how many I do knit. I think if I were to knit 52 pairs, they would mostly have to be in stockinette (I like to challenge myself with new patterns).

Your sock yarn stash looks like fun!
