Fun first Knit Nite

I should have posted an update yesterday about the Knit Nite we had Wednesday night, but the excitement of the spanky new project bag had me discombobulated for a while!

Our first Knit Nite drew a small but fun crowd ... aside from me (who I thought might be the only attendee - this was a serious fear of mine!), Sheri, Donna and Barbara came out and knit.

We had a good time, drank some coffee, told tales about ... well, it was girl talk and I won't divulge what we talked about ! and of course we talked knitting.

I am hoping next week we get a few more people, the more the merrier!

Next time is ... Wednesday, October 17th, 7 p.m., Liverpool Market Superstore Community Room - be there or be square!

I do hope more people come! It was fun, and we know Donna won't be there next.

Sold a lot of Classic Wool today. Two ladies came in after you, and one bought the last two balls of Forest! All five sold today, and I didn't get one for my mittens. :( I wrote it down for the next order, which I hope she's placing this weekend. Along with a couple of more new colors. We sold like 22 balls of Classic Wool today by the time I left at 3, a good yarn day!

We used to have a knit night here at the community center once a month but it just died away : ( Sounds like fun.

Thanks for the name suggestion for my mitts!!

Hey! You've already got more members than we did at our first gathering! there were only 3 of us for an entire summer.

I'm a big square.
Forgot yesterday was Tuesday when my daughter asked if a friend could come over "tomorrow after school". Forgot that tomorrow would be Weds. Forgot it was my "go to Liverpool" night. DARN!!!
I'm going to to sit and knit in my livingroom instead ... I'll be with you in mind.
And, if it knit night continues there might be 2 of us (and a couple of kids) down next week.
